I am going to see Neil Diamond(SP)

My mom has had a stressfull day at her job, and my grandpa and step grandma came down and they were going to go see Niel Diamond, but my mom is to stressed and she is doing a closing for a $1,000,000.00 and she has only worked for 4 months! So she called and asked if I want to go! So I am going to see someone I have never even heard LOL, maybe he will have a good opening

or hopfully I will like him....

I hope I am not in the nose bleed section! The last 6-7 times I went the the Jazz game in the last couple of years have not been any higher than 10 rows FROM THE GROUND, my dad got all the tickets for free! I dont know if I will ever be able to go any higher than that now....sadly the people who are working on building the new school are almost done, so that little time of feeling rich is gone LOL! the second to last time we sat right behing the Jazz team so we were on row ONE and before we got to go under and eat.mmmmmmm! We've been spoiled!

Liz, some people just have a way with words to make old people like me feel older. She could have atleast had the respect for us to spell his first name correctly. (Edited to note that Gage did spell Neil correctly in the subject line.)

Years ago I worked for a division of Citibank in Westwood Ca and was always receiving interoffice envelopes from the main office in NYC. One woman was always addressing my envelopes to Neil Diamond. People in my office always knew who she meant.

No, I don't think so, Liz. I think Gage is soooooooo young!

Gage, I'm sure you've heard his music, maybe at your grandparents' house or something. Songs like Sweet Caroline, Cracklin' Rose (my favourite!), Song Sung Blue, Comin' To America, Shilo, etc. etc..... I've never seen him in concert, but I've heard many times that he puts on an incredible show!!! MiniV is right - what an awful waste of a ticket, except that I'm sure you'll like him!! Let us know, ok?

It is a good show. I saw him last year or well maybe 2 years ago now.. it was shortly after I saw the beach boys who were wonderful!!!!

I saw Neil Diamond a couple of years ago with hubby, great show!!!

Hubby also plays most of Neil's stuff, which I request often when we are sitting around the campfire in the summer.

You should download some of his sons to listen to before you go. You'll enjoy the concert much more. Neil is getting up there in age but he still sings his heart out. I have gone to about 6 of his concerts through the years. They used to always be sold out and I can remember waiting in line many hours one year to get tickets. Hope you have fun.

I really didnt have any time to find some songs... I found out like 2 hours before I went! It was so fun, and I knew a couple of songs like ''when I say her face, now I am a beleiver(I am not sure what that official name is) and were coming to america (I LOVE LOVE that song) I had a great time, we was kinda up high, but I forgot about that when it started! I am glad I got to go!

The reason why I dont really know who he is is I usually just listen to Country, and some other musics (like Gwen Stefani, Nellie Furtado & Black Eyed Peas!) but I do like him it was fun!
