I have been looking at the saleboard, and drooling and I WANT ANOTHER HORSE. I want to see another horse in my barn so badly, but my mom won't let me. Poo.

Who here is getting another horse for Christmas?

We have to go and slap ourselves straight nowadays when that feeling comes.

But we've had a bundle of joy in the barn for a few weeks now who was my husbands gift to my daughter for Christmas this year.

Well, I guess I make up for a lot of people who have the urge to buy a new horse. I went through that and bought 6. How that happened I still haven't figured out. LOL But each one brought something I wanted so hey..why not. You only live once and I work hard for my money. Of course, my father hasn't said ONE word to me since the trailer dropped them off today. *sigh* Oh well. You know, you could probably sneak another teeny one in without your mom seeing........

I bought myself a Christmas present this week and am hoping to have her here in just a few weeks. She's a pretty little snowcap filly! I just love Christmas shopping for myself.

Hate to admit it, but Larry already gave me my Christmas Filly!

She's Arenosa on one side of her and Buckeroo on the other side! I love her!

Will take pics soon, but she's black with a few white hairs on her forehead and a little white sock on one rear leg......and Sweet Sweet Sweet!

She is registered as "Rabbit Hutch Ranch Buceroo Gal" but she named herself as "Bunnie"! (What's funny is that her breeder's husband's nickname is Bunny!)

Hubby told me I could get a mini appy mare for my Christmas B-day present with our tax returns. Well I just got 2, 2 days ago! Found a great deal and whoo Hoo, I got 2 and didn't have to wait.

I am pretty lucky this year! Did I mention what great hubby I have??

I so want another mini.... has to be a mare this time. However, as hubby got his brand new from the dealership 2500 Ram, I promised I'd hold off on the purchase of a new mini until this spring. I agreed, (because I wanted the Ram so I can get a nice big all pretty brand new HORSE TRAILER!) I wanted something that would work in case I have to evacuate the entire herd come next year's hurricane season.

Hubby says I should look for a nice broodmare or a foal that will be weaned by the spring.

Anyway, if anyone wants to send me pictures of their mares or fillies for sale... I'd love to see them! My email is [email protected]

Well no.. sortta.. We fell in love with a stallion at a sale... If we can find him, we are going to try to buy the cutie, then geld him & he would be my famlies show boy(instead of Midnight..) along with Joy! He was a Cremello

Also in the summer, we plan to buy another foal from Bucknells Minis..

I have to sell my APHA filly that is for sale, before I can bring home another mini (hubby thinks I have too many horses - 5 full-size and 3 minis currently).

I keep thinking I want to get a little taller mini mare trained to Drive with a temperament for a Gimp person..say between 36" & 38" tall.

But... I do have two nice minis now. What I need to do once my leg is healed is get Theia started well. Then I can look into those team 4 wheel carriage(s) I am talking with Celine about. Have to keep telling myself to be happy with what I have now. And enjoy them more.

With both of them pulling,, would be able to do more.

Also saddle shopping for Dyfra... and is getting tiring to say the least. She is not a easy horse to buy for. Nothing wide enough, short enough and what I want.

Now going to look at the Treeless saddles like the StarTrekk. Sigh ~ ~

Yes, I got the bug bad too!!! It's all I can do not to get on a plane & go to RHA & buy the 3 mares/fillies that I want soooo bad. I want & need broodmares & the salesboard is soooo not helping. Have to wait till next spring so I will just keep hoping people will post all boys!!!!

And my hubby thinks I have a lot of horses with four minis (one has been sold), one PMU filly and a Modern Shetland?!

(I think I failed to mention to him that the pony is bred - due to her heavy winter coat he thinks Mercy is bred (she is not... just plump and plush) and we no longer keep any "boys" here!)
