I found 8 acres about 20 minutes from where we live now. It already has a well and a septic system put in. They want $84,500.00 for it. Is that reasonable? I think so. I haven't been able to find a piece of land that size with no spetic or well for less that $120,00.00. I want to build my own house and barn and tke my horses to my house instead of keeping them at mt mom's.

Hey Christy I have no idea if that's a good deal on land where you live. But then you have to figure out how much it will take you to build a house, barn, and fence it. That's going to add up so you have much to figure out.

Just a sidenote and a warning: I visited your website and on there you have a picture of your two beautiful children. Then, next to that is your home address. Christy, take warning, this is an open invitation to kidnappers and predators......not a good idea.

Christy,

That sounds like a good price even for up here in Maine but in MA it sounds like a steal> Is there a zoning type problem? Not trying to be neg at all but sometimes there can be issues with land. We are in construction business and it does happen. Unfortunately to the people that could make best use, such as a home for your family and horses are usually the ones that seem to get road blocks from local zoning.

Really hope this works out for you and your family :aktion033:

Marty- Thanks, I'll change that.

Mark- It's in the middle of "no where" so to speak, lots of farms in the hilltowns adn I don't see a problem with zoning laws. My MIL is a relator so I'm going to ask her to find out some info on it for us. Thanks.

Christy
