Whew. Done!!!

...I wonder if the filing deadline is midnight here on the west cost or midnight on some other coast. Not that it matters; we're safe since we're getting a refund. I absolutely hate doing taxes. It's not that hard, but I have to dig through my files of junk and find everything. I swear for next year I'm going to be more organized. The only good aspect is that since I quit working we pay way less in taxes, which makes me feel much less guilty for not working and for being such a tax-procrastinator.

Awww, but didn't yesterday feel just a bit extra special? It was the 100th Anniversary of the income tax being around this neck of the woods

I still can't believe I let it slip up on me like that!...maybe in the back of my head I didn't want to part with my money, because now I'm BROKE. I hate to spend money, I love to make it but I can choke a pen out of ink with it comes to spending it.

Hey it was a double whammy for me since my birthday is on tax day. I always file an extension, since I don't want to ruin my birthday:)

100th anniversary, eh? ...didn't know that.

Though it was our wedding anniversary too; beats me why we got married on tax day. And I always get so stressed about getting taxes done that I forget about our wedding anniversary. (That's my excuse for that one; now I have to think of an excuse for always forgetting his birthday!)

I have a mare named Candy's Little Tax Return (DOB Apr 15) We call her "Tacky" for short. Poor thing is a GORGEOUS mare!

Yes, it was an essential part of the "federal" reserve act. It was "essential" because the private bankers needed an iron clad mechanism by which they could be "paid back" for the debt they were planning to put us under. Seems to have worked very well for them if not us.

I know, going away....
