I love gardening (you wouldn't know it from the vast brown patches in my yard) and love garden statues. I can't afford them so I don't torture myself looking at them. So what does my dear friend do but send me this. She's so nice I'll have to call and thank her during the Westmeinster(sp?) as she's been a dog groomer for over 15 years.

Thought the prices were high and then actually read the whole process in his "news" page. He started a new sculpture on Sept 1 2005 and finished it Feb 9th 2006. Doesn't change the fact that he's out of my price range but it's neat to actually be able to see the transformation from wire to highly detailed piece.

Well I suppose it's the thought that counts.

Never fear, I know where you can get plenty of lawn oranments for your garden on my mountain.

A man here makes sculptures out of junk that is proabably in your price range if you're on a budget like me. The last one he made is a robot out of a garbage can for the body and dog food cans for the arms and legs.........I can't tell you what the head is made out of !
