My husband calls me today and I say " Whats up" he says " I just wanted to hear your voice"!!

I said " Well that is so sweet" !

We have been married 17 1/2 years and together 20 years.

He does this all the time and it just squeezes my heart everytime!

You are one of the lucky ones!! You have a keeper!!

My two ex's were more intersted in what was in it for them. That is why I am single today

Mine gets better with age. I think it is so nice though to know that the more we give the more we get back. Each giving 100% makes the difference. Mary

I have a "die hard romantic" husband who always does that kind of stuff for me. He's more "lovey" than I am, but I don't mind.

We've been married for almost 6 years, but have been together for just about 13. He's a great guy and loves to do things for others. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't be living on my own land with my horses right outside my window. I didn't think we could do it! He also built my barn from the ground up ALL BY HIMSELF! How great can you get?!

Many of you know how great my Carl is

My daughter' also..here in the cold, she finds messages written in the frost or snow of their van..he writes them on his way out..just I Love You etc..he also writes in the fog after a shower, I Love you Tracy."

But if it was me I'd rather he just cleaned the mirror:)

Carl lays out my medication every morning as I don't sleep well and I get up after him..beside my meds many times is a note, like yesterday:

Good morning honey, love you bunch, see you when I get in" (He goes out and does horse chores.)

This after 47,1/2 yrs married and 49 being together..aren't we lucky ladies.

When we first got married he was OK that way but a "whipper snapper, he has adult ADD which I'd never heard of"..so these years in the second half of our life together are extra sweet, I relish every one.

Maxine

Mine does that! He sends me text messages saying he loves me or just checking in. Lately he has even started keeping the house clean for me!

. He cooks most of the time now since I'm working long, busy days. He has even started helping me with the horses....YEAH!!!!! We've been married 22 1/2 years now and are as close as ever. I don't get flowers though. He said he doesn't want to waste money on things that don't last. He buys me guns instead.

This is what my hubby is like. He always wants to know what's in it for him. Anything I have I've either bought myself or had to fight him to get (my horses!!!) Any Birthday, mom's day, anniversary, xmas gifts I've had tp buy myself. When he calls me from work he just wants to gripe about his co-workers and bosses. oh yah and to ask why I'm being a $#%@^& and why do I have an attitude. Well you called me at my job and I need to finish so I can get home to my other 2 jobs. DUH!

I too have a keeper. He is always telling me he loves me, buying flowers and doing little things to helpout or things he thinks will make me happy.

We've been together 27 years and married for 14. He is the love of my life. If I say I'd really like to have something he gets it for me or tells me to go get it. I thank God for him quite often.

I was married to a real jerk before and it took me about 5 years to decide to just date after him. The only good thing he did was give me 3 great kids.

How wonderful..doesn't that just make your heart sing?

My husband says we are still on our honeymoon, and this year makes 27 years of honeymoon.

I too have a keeper...and our relationship just gets stronger and better everyday.

Harvey, my husband, is the biggest blessing in my life. We started dating back in 1985 and have been together ever since.

He does little things every day that just make me feel very loved. He helps so much with our horses (without his help, I could not have so many), builds barns for the horses, puts extra covers on me every night before bed, cooks most of our dinners, etc. x 1,000,000

I am married to a dream! He would do anything in the world for me and shows me all the time (and I do the same for him) I get 3 or 4 "I love you" emails either home or to my phone throughout the day and when he has time I get calls just to check on my day:) Yesterday my phone went off and the message was "Your to sexy for your phone" LOL

I am glad to hear of so many happy marriages..

Today my husband called and said " Hows the Most Beautiful Girl in the World".

Wow at almost 41 I am a girl!! Ha-ha..

Mine is also likes Jills. He builds everything around here and fixes everything so we dont have to spend more hiring a repairman!

He works hard and helps me with the horses and loves our 2 kids so much and shows that he loves them! Alot of men dont know how to show affection but mine sure does. We all tell each other we love each other at least 5 times a day and lots of hugs and kisses!!

I thank God alot for being blessed..

Maxine, thats wonderful- 47 years!! We all aspire to be like you..

For those of you who dont have a spouse or one that is sweet, maybe counseling would help, or finding the RIGHT guy.... Good luck
