I Have TWO Entries on Equusite TODAY (Saturday)

Today on Equusite, I have two entries

Khaki and Goldie, two of my adult mares, are pictured loving on each other, and my 2006 silver buckskin filly, Flirt, is pictured running wild

Then, it's not a voting thing, but on the Dogs part, our blue merle collie, Kelsey, is pictured today as well

We're going to have some big egos around Whinny For Me Farm today if these four girls find out they all have their pictures on Equusite! I'll have to tell Goldie, Khaki and Flirt that they tied it for first regardless of how it really goes

Please vote for my girls if you have the time!

Jill, did you check out the numbers for the month. Your photo of Destiny is in the lead by one point for highest point photo for Jan. And not much time left for someone to pass you either.

Karen -- I hadn't noticed that about Destiny's photo! I hope he holds onto the lead!!! That is probably is one of my favorite pictures of him or any of our horses!!! It's special, too, because Harvey took it when we actually met our boy in the flesh for the first time (last year in Kentucky).

I voted for Goldie and Khaki, you said Goldie looks palomino, what color is she if she's not palomino? They are beautiful girls.

I've been too lazy to pull the hairs from Goldie so far for testing, but I think she is actually very light silver bay. Since I love cream dilutes and she's going to be part of the breeding program, I hope she's palomino but do not believe she really is although that's how she's registered. I'm going to go on and pull the hairs from her soon, and maybe a couple other horses, and have them tested so I'll know for sure.

Another reason I think Goldie's really silver bay is that she doesn't get any lighter in the winter like all the other palominos I know and she's got a "peachy" tinge to her coat. Bacardi, who is the most golden palomino I've seen in person, is almost a buff color now, but he will start to show gold in a few months. Goldie is the same color even in her winter woollies:

already went there and gave each photo 2 10s. I look every morning when I get a chance and always vote for the minis. Usually, they belong to someone on the forum and I don't want to forget to support my forum friends. I sent a photo in a couple of days ago, so you never know. My Mamas Boy and my granddaughter may be on there one of these days. :bgrin

seems silly of Equusite to put two pics from the same person... that makes it hard on the person submitting! good lesson to learn though, space out submissions... i am trying to get up the nerve to send some myself!
