I was working on my physics class & a saw something moving out on our glassed in porch. It kept going back & forth so I knew it wasnt a leaf or something. It was a little bird! I was trying to go out a window but the window was locked shut. I was going to just open the window for it, but it flew to the other side of the porch. I propped open the door & then was planning on just trying to get the bird to fly out. But When I got close to it it just looked at me. I talked to him real quietly while I got some bird food in a cup & helped the bird into the cup. I put my hand over the top loosely so he wouldnt fly off & get stuck inside again. He sat very calmly in there & just watched me through my fingers. I got him outside & set the cup on some railing. He sat in the cup for a second or two then flew off chirping! It was real neat! He didnt seem scared at all. It was like he knew I was trying to help him. I was just so amazed by it I had to share.
