I am so excited! I bought a new camera today to have a good photo shoot tomorrow to send pictures in for the article. It comes out in September and my little minis deserve the recognition. I guess I tell them online at the club so many funny stories of my miniatures escapades and adventures in training, that they are doing a feature in the Journal! It will center around and highlight my little *Vegas Jewel*, who was the reason I missed the Las Vegas Tour and First Club Party. She was worth it! I am hoping I can now post pictures on here as well with the new Canon I got. I will do my best to represent the miniature horse industry, and educate others about miniatures. They asked a lot of questions, and I chose to write answers instead of interview by phone. I also threw kudo's to Lil Beginnings and the vast amount of help from breeders and friends alike here for people new to minis like I was , and still am in some areas lol!

Congratulations! How very exciting for you and for all minis!

I happen to really like Clinton Anderson and think he "gets" it although I know not everyone agrees. I've learned a lot about reading horses from him and have travelled far and wide to see him in person many times.

Woohooo Congrats! I have been wondering when he was going to do something with the miniatures. Thats awesome for the breed.

I thought it was an amazing opportunity also! He does have a miniature named Phoenix that is a companion to his Demo horse Diez, and at his last tour Diez wasn't feeling well so Clinton brought out Phoenix as the demo horse. I wish I could have been there. The pictures were really funny seeing Clinton teach Phoenix the groundwork lessons. I kept after them to spotlight Phoenix more, to show what miniatures are "good for" for people who had no information on them. By the way, I get asked that everytime we are out walking with one of the minis, (soon to be driving we hope now that I got my first Patty Cloke DVD). Tomorrow is a big day to finish clipping and cleaning everyone up in an assembly line for pictures. Time to break out the Advil for back pain lol.

Wow that is awesome, I have long admired Clinton and look forward to your feature. To very exciting!
