Horses should go cheap, and Double Diamond will transport for a fee. Just check with Heather if You buy anything

Thanks

The prices are making me sick. These horse should have at least one more decimal point in their prices.

The prices were so low - it was awful to watch. These kind of prices are very very scary.

I bought #59 for $500 and I am thrilled to death.

He will fit in perfectly with my "boys".

Heather did a fantastic job - as always.

Buyers at this sale were able to buy several very nice horses for next to nothing.

I'm not even sure who bought the top seller.

Thank you wrs. That is sure too bad to see these sales prices lately, knowing it's only the beginning of the signs of the times yet to come!

I'm thinkin' that the timing of the sale must have been off, somehow.

Timing because of the big economic swings and recession?

Timing because it is right before Thanksgiving and Christmas and people are saving their bucks?

Was it very well attended, or was the crowd thin?

I watched the first 5 horses ell, then had to turn off the monitor. i was getting sick.

The horses that I saw sell were really nice. Gorgeous, royallt bred mares in foal to good stallions that the auctioneer had to work his butt off to get to $500. i show fillies bringing $500 or less. How sad is it when an easy entry cart sells for more than a show horse?

When the fee to ship the horse to its new home costs more than a horse's purchase price, that's bad for everyone involved in Miniature horses.

It looked to me very similar to the prices at the Little King recent sale in October.

Those also were Extremely nice horses. I think it is where the market is right now, and hopefully when the whole economy gets better the mini market will again also.

My internet was out all weekend. Probably just as well, I'd likely be on the way to pick up horses in Conroe at those prices.... :DOH!

How do we find out about these sales in advance? Is there a newsletter showing the auction sales all over the country?

I think timing has a lot to do with it as well as promotion. I know for the Lyncliff Sale I was getting emails daily, sometimes a couple emails a day. I finally emailed and asked to be removed from their email list and I marked their emails as spam.

This sale I totally forgot about. Actually, the only time I saw any kind of advertising for this sale was at the end of the LynCliff sale when someone online mentioned this sale.

While these prices were down, the LynCliff sale prices were much better IMO.
