He is very nice Mona; you're going to get some lovely babies off of him!
LOL....Stephanie, NO, he does NOT like the "cool"! I have been having to blanket him. Once during the day(just took the blanket off each time I had him breed a mare, and then put it back on) and then almost every night. He shivers and shakes like a leaf. These 50's are too cool for him, and the night before last, it was down to 41. I blanketed him and kept him in the barn over night(they were calling for rain that night too, but it never came) with a mare in the next stall for company.Mona, I'm thrilled that he has such a wonderful new home. Of course, I'll bet he is really enjoying the pasture, the cool and all the mares.

How did I miss this post!! Mona he is stunning.: I LOVE Karen Wales breeding program, well and Karen too...lol. Red dun is such a hard color to find and it is one of my favorites. I can't wait to see what he produces for you. Keep us posted on pictures of this handsome boy!!
I wish my girl had the darker mane and tail like yours does. But I still love her and hope you and I both have some red duns next year
