Michael had a lot of really good friends and one of them was Nola. She was probably one of the most devoted best friends he ever had in his life. They would do anything for each other. There was such a love between them, not the romantic kind, but the friendship kind. She had a little daughter that adored Michael and he would spend hours on end playing with her and being her adopted "daddy." Nola is a young lady that has had a very hard time and she will never let go. I often find sweet things she brings to the cemetary and I know its from her. She came to all of our court goings on and also came and spoke to the parole board for Michael too. She and her husband decided they willl do the ultimate gesture of love and name their new child for Michael. Since there were already a million Michael's in her family, she chose to use our last name in his honor. I'm going to meet the baby this week and I can't wait.
