It's a FILLY! And Buckskin to boot!!
I FINALLY got my Lacey filly!

Was my first foaling to be present from the beginning, all the others I missed by minutes, from the time to get from the house to the barn they were born.. Saw Lace go down, but couldn't tell on the cam if her water had broke so headed out anyway.. Sure enough get out there to feet and nose, broke the sac and cleaned the nostrils, then grabbed the legs and kept pressure while she pushed, two good pushes and she was out.. Already trying to stand before I could get the sac off her lol Was up by 5 minutes after foaling, walking by 10, nursing shortly after, good poop by 20 minutes old.. Good ole Lace cleaned right after, couldn't have asked for an easier foaling! Was born approximately 1:20 am, so about 2 1/3-3 hours after I took the photos in the post "Hmm when do YOU think she will foal?" Will get some dry pictures later, headed to bed for some SLEEP! lol
