My mom picked up the horses wormer yesterday as its soon time to worm and I was out. She picked up a product call "Bimectin" and I'm wondering if others have used this with no problem? I googled it and got a recall wedsite for one of the lots(not the one I go) but still has me worried

Bimectin is "just" the usual ivermectin (1.87%). It looks different because it is a gel vs. a paste, and it is apple flavored. My horses love it. I've been using it for a few years.

I've used Bimectrin several times and have never had any trouble with it. Like Jill said its Ivermectrin and my horses like it too.

My horses and I love Bimectrin, will buy over anything else ivermectin because its a gel and its apple flavored. You can usually get it online much cheaper at horse.com or jeffers equine. Just bought my years supply from jeffers. (More than bimectrin too)
