I have had a headache from heck the past 5 days but have been been coming into work anyways .

Today I decided I think its probably a sinus infection and told the person in charge that I would be making a Doctors appt as soon as the drs office opened. She got in a huff and said no their is already a lot of staff out!!

Oops I hit enter too soon.

So now I WILL MAKE AN APPT and I won't be coming back today.I will take this head home and put it to bed!

Deb and you both feeling poorly. I certainly hope that over the weekend you both start feeling better. I do not think the school is being reasonable at all. Its hard to work when feeling out of sorts. Kind of a bad thing about having animals, ill or not they still require care hope you have some help with chores. Regards Geese (AKA Vic)

Hi Geese,

Naw the heads not that bad. I only have 2 minis so takes about 5 minutes to do hay and grain and with the heated buckets chores are a breeze. However hubby would do it if I asked when he gets home at night.

It just royally ticked me off when she said that.

I am not one to go to Drs as i feel I can fix myself most of the time with little things like a headache. I am prone to sinus infections and get one once a year usually in April. I am in a tiny 7x11 room with all the students who don't see a dr so hack and cough and sneeze all winter so I feel so good I don't get sick. Staff have been falling like flys with a respiritory flu like thing and they are down for a week even the tough old birds who never miss a day.

Knock on woÃ¸d I have been fine.

Hi Bonnie:

Hooray for you....go see the doctor, make some hot herbal tea, and go to bed.

Being exposed to sickly kids in a small room, as staff if sickies, and the energy getting sucked out of you talking with animals, perhaps your body is telling you to take some time for BONNIE! Think about it, you're always giving from an emotional standpoint to so many animals/people, that it's bound to compromise your immune system.

Now, TAKE CARE OF BONNIE.....have hubby reschedule your appointments for a few days, and recharge those wonderful batteries!

Cindy is right, Bonnie...... You need to nip the thing in the bud and take some time out for YOU.

My daughter's school is being hit by a similar bug out here too. I also get the sinus thing and have been fighting it for WEEKS.
