Hi everyone, Long time no see! I have been gone since 2007-8 but am missing this place. A lot has happened, we lost our farm , had to sell all our horses, rented a house for a while and now have bought one that needs LOTS of work. Robby our forum baby from 2004 turned 7 this week. Two years ago he was diagnosed with Aspergers syndrome and we are working thru that. Three years ago he got a new little sister who is FINALLY my horse crazy kid and Nanny has no horses! Go figure but we visit Janet Worshams Lilly, who used to be ours and Lizzy has a great time. There are also two more grandchildren from my other daughter Amy, Arron 4 and Olivia 1. My 32 year old son FINALLY got married to a wonderful girl from PAraguay who he met on a mission trip. So lots have changed at the Jacobs house.

I was also able to get my vision back , got my drivers license back and my RN back as well so I am interviewing for real jobs again.

We were still able to show dogs a little but now that I have some horse dirt under my fingernails again, I dont think it will be long till Lizzy wins over her grandpa and we fence in part of our acre and a half.

Just wanting to say hi and update you all who are still here from before. Will talk more latter.

hugs from an old friend.

HI LYNN! I've very often thought of you and wondered where you were! I'm glad to see you again!

I remember when Robby was born! I can't believe he's 7 already!

Me either, this is his sister Lizzy.... she is my horseie girl. Every day "can we go horsie" I just wish I had one here but we will someday again. IT will just take time.

Wow, got your sight back? How did you do it? I know you had diabetic retinopathy as did I. I lost the sight in my right eye so wondered if there was something new being done that I have missed.

I dont know where I have been here I thought you were in Germany or something? Anyway glad all is going well and welcome back

Wow Lyn hi! Last time I think we heard from you, you were in Germany selling juice living the good life. How did you ever get your sight back? That's amazing. Welcome back!

I was in Germany for about 8 months. Came home, when the economy tanked so did the juice business, my husbands job too. We had to sell the farm, and the horses , rent a house for about 6 months and then we bought this forclosure. Nice place, lots of work but only about an acre so there is only room for 1 B mini for my grandkids. We dont even have a fence or anything at the moment but my Lizzy is dragging a plastic horse around, feeding and grooming it..... hard as a rock but she loves it. We go visit Janet Worshams Lilly who was bred by us about once a week. Lizzy has her daddy and Papa wrapped around her little finger so Im certain there is a mini in my future or a classic shetland!
