Ok, first off Heather is just the greatest!! She went above and beyond, with me and setting me up ...from several states away. :aktion033:

Well, my camera "fed" isn't the best.....the cameras are good and clear, very easy to see even details on my TV (as I have two receivers, so have one running to the computer for the live fed and then the other to my TV), but the web view is much grainer...but you can see them and whats going on. Heather said some cameras are just that way, where they don't give very good fed via computer. My barn is also a some ways from the living room/where the computer is so...

Right now you have to sort of look over the "second" cam (one the buckskin mare is in) as this camera's IR (infra-red) went out and it is giving a very grainy/bad picture......and I just got the replacement camera in today, but will be a day or two before I get it up and replaced - so at this time this camera is very hard to see with a not so great picture, but it will soon be at least as good as the other fed the black mare is in. And my possibly have three cams up and going by the end of the month, when more mares get close

And then, I live out in the sticks

: and we aren't able to get anything other than dialup, so my fed is choppier, not as streaming....but oh well, I have to work with what I have. But this way when I keep a mare up I can see them from my desk at work, though I do turn my mares out a lot of times during the day...now when they get really close I will keep them up.

But was just going to post this as both these mare look CLOSE....their due date @330 is around Feb 20th...but I say they will both go this week.

**Deni (LM Hawks Queen of Denial) the black mare in cam 1 has been "semi" uncomfortable over the past few days, she is very relaxed, and though her bag isn't tight yet she has plenty of thick amberish colored milk...., she lost her first foal last year at 9months due to twisted cord, she is in foal to Bandito

**Heir (Little Kings Heir to Glory) the buckskin mare in the camera that is grainy right now, has an udder that is extermely tight, sticky milk, very relaxed; but she has shown no signs of being uncomfortable yet...she is a maiden mare, in foal to Taker

Yea, I hope one of them pops on the 20th, I would love something great to happen on my 40th birthday this year!!! :aktion033:

Good for you, Erica! We tried to get my camera online last year, but my old wired camera won't work that way.

I'll be looking forward to seeing more babies!

Just went to check it out. One I can't see very well, but I think it's Deni that looks really ready! I'll be watching.

Yep Deni is in the camera that is clearer.......Heir is in the stall with the camera that the infrared went out on, and has in turn made the whole camera not NEAR as sharp, but hopefully I can get that switched around this weekend and install the new one I have sitting at home.

Heir, had loose cow poos this morning, udder is full and tight -sticky milk and her vulva is a deep dark pink-not quite cherry red (but close) so I "expect" her to go by tomorrow :aktion033:

Now Deni, has been the one up and down and has been sweating just a tad over the past few days, she is VERY loose behind, throws her tail around all the time....she has stick amber milk, bag isn't tight yet....so we shall see....

MAYBE they are just waiting so they can go on the same night (yeah in my dreams right....)

**and I am going to have Heir's stalls new camera up tonight...so if she don't have it before then maybe it will be easier to see later tonight once I get home and get it switched

And Worthy isn't too far along, hopefully one of these mares will go by this weekend or I will have to switch it on to three cameras; she is about two weeks off I would say, but steadily progressing

it looks like to me someone is one of there stalls and it looks like the mare is down! I hope she has her baby! I wish I could see it better but I am so excited to keep watching!

She has already had it Gage,

Going to try to put the new camera in when I get home....not sure if it will help the feed any or not, but worth a shot (should make it like Deni's stall) at least

YAAHAHH! I wasn't sure if she was having it or already did! But I thought I could see a tiny little foal head, so I was right! Congratulations! Is this a Big City foal or a Taker?

:aktion033: This is GREAT Erica!!! :aktion033:

I am having SO much fun watching Mare Stare! I have not been lucky enough to see a birth yet, but I sure do enjoy watching the babies play, and how the mares love their babies!!

Congrats Erica - don't you know I missed it. I watched all night and this morning then shut several things off to work....dang.

FYI - there is a wonderful alert monitor that you can open and just leave running on your computer. I will make noise when a mare is close and when a mare is foaling - so you can be in the kitchen cooking and hear the alert and make it in time to see the foal.

Check it out Foaling Alarm Monitor. Just thought it might help some people catch some foalings.
