He's such a goofball! Wasn't sure what to do when he got "stuck" in the belly high snowdrift, had that "oh crap" look on his face lol Finally took a leap and busted out and then he thought it was fun.. Think someone forgot to give him the memo that it's still WINTER and COLD here in Ohio cause he's shedding like crazy! Hopefully that means spring IS just around the corner! We're less than 100 days until our first foal's expected due date!

Oh I love that last photo of him!!

Isn't it funny how some horses don't care about the snow, and others truly do freak out??

Thanks everyone! He's my special boy

And Stephanie, you're right! He was having a blast once he realized he could break through the deep snow.. The fillies had fun bucking and running.. The mares on the other hand steered clear of the deepest snow, the two preggo girls rolled a few times and then came back to the gate wanting back in.. The three amigos as I call them (a 3 yr old gelding, and 2 2 year old colts) have no cares in the world, they run around, gang up on each other and wrestle each other into the snow.. lol

Awww...there's my boy. I love seeing photos of him...... Wish his mama was having a baby this year....hopefully next year......

Tami---That's a bummer

Really hoping you get your filly out of her!! Who are you planning on crossing her with for 2011?

eagles ring farm--- Horses sure do seem to enjoy playing in it, but I'm sooo sick of it and ready for my green grass, leaves on the trees, birds singing and babies!

Chesa--- Doc says hi!! Was he a crazy goober and shed like crazy when it was still cold in Nebraska?? Goodness, my broodies haven't even started shedding yet and Doc's is coming out in handfuls! He's too funny, he'll stick his head out through his gate in the barn, whinny and all the girls will answer back before he'll go and eat his dinner, guess he has to make sure all are present and accounted for before he can eat lol

Great to see him having fun in the snow!

Doc fan here... I think he's got a club HE HE

Such a kind eye love that about him
