Well, I confidently believe in psychic ability. From those who have shared how/what/when, etc, it is something that comes to some sporadically, others almost constantly, some only if at the site/with the person and in different methods....meaning via "intuition", a dream, a voice, a thought -- pictures or not -- and so on. Probably part of that is in how the person is able to channel and that may be in how they have "allowed" things to develop -- again, my perception my how/what some have shared of their abilities.
I believe that some are more compatible with humans &/or animals, thus the development of those lines are stronger, JMO.
There are several on this forum who have some "type" of ability -- or at least some occassional connection with the spirit world.
It has come to my attention that I have often had the forewarning of death(s). Not a tremendous discovery, I admit but, there it is. On several occassions I have had a sudden "knowing" which I did not expect or want about such things. These were not sick animals or sick people, at least not to my knowledge, except one (and that person had been told their medical issue was clear and gone). And to say it is sudden is just that -- boom. Generally, there is contact and an almost instant thought that soon they will be forever gone. If I know them well, often a long time, it's odd that on a particular day I have a type of "he/she/it is soon to be gone" thought just jump up in my head -- no thoughts before about how they are, what they've been doing -- just BOOM!
Many, many years ago (I was 18/19) I went to an old lady who had done readings for many. The things she told me were just my life opening up before me. Each has happened -- and these were not go to school and be a lawyer/doctor/indian chief -- they were things I could not control, for the most part, or have made happen actually. Most amazing experience!
I am fascinated by the methods, manner in which such things come to those who have these frequent experiences and those with more advanced abilities. It is interesting to me.
I would LOVE to spend a day with Sylvia Brown -- one on one!!
