Congrats! Whatever you choose make sure you do what you think is best for YOURSELF, the rest of your family and the unborn child. Yes listen to others thoughts/opinions but do what's right for you. I personally would not bring another child into your situation (not that it's a bad situation!!!) and I personally would have an abortion. That being said I am not you and you need to do what's right for you! I am of the opinion that there are far too many children being born and plenty of children (young and older) who need homes. I wouldn't ever bring a child into the world because 'things happen for a reason' as I think it's cruel and unfair. A person needs to be sure of the situation whether it's mentally, physically, emotionally and financially. Then again, that's just my opinion coming from someone who thinks there's far too many people on our planet.

Then again if you think that you're going to get support for this child and that you can do it without giving yourself a heart attack (don't think it can't happen to you!) then yes I would keep it. Ayye there's so many things to think about! Good luck with whatever your choice is, we're all supporting you.

I think every generation has worried about the state of the World and the future for the children. My grandfather used to say how the Beatles were the beginning of the end. LOL Yes, things can be rough, but there is so much joy out there as well. Every generation thinks the World has gone to pot and yet it goes on. There are so many beautiful things to share and teach to children, so many opportunities to see wonders! There has always been and will always be evil...the difference is that it is much more publicized now. I choose to see the glass as half full...okay, most of the time.

First off--congratulations! Second, I think your feelings are normal. I would like to point out something from the other side of things. I am one of those women that has tried and tried and had the heartbreak of loss. It has never settled with me that I won't be able to have babies as the docs have told me over the years. After almost 12 years of happy marriage we are now talking about looking into adoption further. I am hoping that maybe out there somewhere is someone who will happen to be carrying the little soul that is meant to find it's way to us. We aren't quite at that "ready" point, but there are so many that are. The waiting list is years long. I just wanted to suggest that maybe if your own world doesn't have a place for one more, maybe there is someone near you who is just waiting and praying for that little miracle. I know that you will fall in love with that tiny baby when you see her little face, but just wanted to point out one other possibility.

Just wanted to share that I've also been where you are........Miscarriages, and then dealing with infertility, surgeries, even invitro... And finally adoption. Never give up hope. And PM me if you would like to. Our childlessness did have a happy ending!
