just need prayers

Yesterday about 5:30 p.m my son came running into our home and yelled our neighbors home was on fire...I of course thought he was kidding untill the fire alarm went off...we both ran as fast as we could to the aid of a freind in need ...as we arrived we were meet by the owner of the house and THANK GOD ...every one including her husband whom is fresh out of knee surgery (where he had both knee caps replaced) were standing outside

SAFE ...the mother whom holds a graveyard shift at the local sherriff's dept was asleep in the home ...there were young kids at home and the oldest one is 11 she was a real HERO ..she saw the flames and proceeded to wake mom and clear the house and then grabbed a garden hose to help fight the flame...she suffered smoke inhalastion and is fine today ....I would like to thank the off duty fireman from DALLAS FD for his clear thinking and bravery ...while on a family vacation spotted the smoke pulled over and lent his assistance in the first crucial minutes ....(name unknown) tonite the family is in a local hotel where the RED CROSS has put them ..this is a family of 7 kids mother and father.

this family lost every thing to the blaze and I would ask you please keep the STRAIN family tonite in your prayers .... thank you...

That is just terrible for that family. I will keep them in my prayers. Do they know what caused the fire yet?

Thank Goodness, the family is safe, all the things in the home, and the home

can be replaced. But the life of a family member can not be. Prayers to them.

I know its still very heart breaking, to loose everything. Hoping there is insurance.

Thank Heaven for 11 year old heros and off-duty ones as well. Sounds like there was a higher power watching over that family.
