So good canine repro vets are hard to find up there too?
well, my whole reluctance to going back to this vet.....she had 10 pups....probably should have had a section right from the get go, but he never once suggested this. He never really brings up anything, unless you ask him something, and this is anything from cats to dogs, the whole bunch....I just never really feel like he understands what's going on??
......and I know you can't tell everything that is going on inside....but she barely made it through that section, and the vet that did it, said her uterus was stretched paper thin!!!!!!! Like I said before, these pups were the size of pups from a much smaller litter. I have a REALLY great unbelievable vet who I take her to for chiro...he's not a repro vet by any means, but he is REALLY, REALLY great....I KNOW he would have told me I should have done a section.....but he is an hour away, so for emergencies, isn't the closest! My other alternative is going to Guelph...to the vet college, but that is even further away than Moxie's chiro vet.....
I'm actually thinking about going to the clinic where the vet that did the section works out of (the 2 clinics have amalgamted for on call work)...not much further than this clinic...but I don't know what he knows about repro either....that was the first section he'd done since leaving vet college....actually he and the vet who took the call made a couple of comments on the vet who saw the xrays....and really made me start to wonder more than I already was....
I know there's a really great canine repro vet in Louisville, KY!!! LOL But some good that does me!!!!
Anyways, I'm just glad she and the pups made it, and everyone is looking good!! Moxie even begged to play a few times today!!!
