It has come to the attention of this reporter that not all voters are aware of the questionable relationship between Presidential Candidate Kermit the Frog and Miss Kitty. This is the rest of the story.....
Reliable sources have informed this reporter that Kermit first met the infamous Miss Kitty at a celebratory party at a normally staid exclusive gentleman's club near the nation's capitol. This party was also attended by Kermit's Vice-Presidential running mate Mickey Mouse.
Although cameras are strictly forbidden at such functions the following photographs (smuggled from the premesis) prove that this was NOT a family oriented party. It was reported that there was unprecedented smoking, drinking and general inappropriate behavior for a Presidential candidate.
Kermit's first glimpse of Miss Kitty was when she jumped out of a cake. It was obvious to those in attendance that Kermit was instantly taken with Miss Kitty despite her questionable occupation, behavior and mode of dress.
In the ensuing months Kermit and Kitty were frequently seen together at various functions.
I was able to obtain this photograph which was taken, by chance, through the window of a local hotel by a member of the paparazzari who just happened to be relaxing in the branches of a nearby tree.
On the Larry Kling show Kermit vehemently denied that he and Miss Kitty were more than casual acquaintances.
Close friends of Miss Kitty have reported that she was furious to hear that Kermit denied their relationship. She's quoted as saying "But I really believed he loved me!"
Unfortunately her unjustified fury over his denial of their relationship resulted in Kermit's recent bout of depression which was reportedly so severe that he attempted suicide. I am happy to report that his attempt only resulted in a fall of 2 feet. He was not seriously injured and is expected to resume campaign activities tomorrow.
The latest breaking news is that Miss Kitty was seen with Kermit immediately prior to his alleged attempted suicide.
This reporter asks the following question........
Is this the picture of someone trying to prevent suicide.......or......was it attempted murder???
