Everybody okay? There were tornadoes from Kansas to Illinois last night, several people were killed. There were over 80 tornadoes reported in Missouri alone.

We are waiting on those here in TN. Had a terrible storm Thursday. Wasn't a tornado until it went over a couple a farms away. Took out a house and garage. We lost part of our roof, some siding, half my barn roof and several cedars. One took part of the fence down where my stallions are. Thank goodness my husband gave me a fourth pasture this last fall. There I am in the rain and lightening moving horses. Still waiting for adjuster to come by.

That's horrible! I used to live in Illinois right in Tornado Alley and we had frequent storms and tornadoes! Those Tornadoes took out our pool and our shed when we lived there about 10 years ago!

We're still here, and nothing was blown away that I know of, although we live right by Watseka which was supposed to have two major cells over it. It DID reek havoc with my computers. I thought my modems were blown on both of the computers in my office, but it turns out it was the surge protector that was blown. I still can't use my good computer, the monitor suddenly won't work, although it was earlier, I just couldn't connect. It's been an aggravating morning that way. All horsies accounted for, although none were happy about being cooped up in the barn last night, and my broody very pregnant mares nearly dragged me out to the paddock when I took them back out. LOL

:new_shocked: I live in Owensville, Mo. I was up listening to the wind, driving rain and hail. Nothing blown away... just alot of rain. Thank God.

I just put almost the same post on the Back Porch. We are fine here, so minor fence damage and large sheets of metal in the pasture from the chicken house roof, but all horses seem to be fine. Chica (29 year old mustang) & Rainey (sporthorse, due any second) are up by house and don't want out of their shed thankyouverymuch, even if it is sunny & blue skies now. Rainey's waxed now, so maybe she was just waiting for that system to pass!!

We're ok here... but we had damage. We had about 30 sheets of 20ft. long sheet metal that we salvaged from our barn and many many 2x4s that we were cleaning up and getting ready for building our barn over on the other side of the house with and we had horrible winds that came up and I stood in the window of my doorway and watched that terrible wind pick up one sheet after another and launch them into the air and sing them 450-500 feet out into the field in front of us...some landed in the trees over there. It also launched 6 ft. 2x4s into that same field :new_shocked: I was so glad it all went the other way away from my house and my animals!

So now we have 90% of our sheet metal ruined  and many of our 2x4s ended up in the neighbors pond across the field, and all over the field in the water.

It also ripped several shingles off of my house, and blew over my favorite apple tree behind my house. The horses loved the apples from that tree. I had some panels rested against it and now they are up in the air because they got blown up into that apple tree. The tree is laid over with a big root mass sticking up out of the ground.

All of my animals are ok though, and despite the loss of my barn materials, and my favorite apple tree and the shingles we are still blessed that we are all fine, the house is still standing, and we can go on and try again.

OH MY!!!,...Glad everyone so far is ok!!

I dont much like storms,.....Please stay safe everyone!!!!!

Ontario is suppose to get what is left today! :new_shocked:

We are fine here in central AR. The storms missed us by only miles. The line would break up before getting here then reform after it passed. PTL!

We are fine here in Heber Springs, Ar (northcentral region), a strong thunderstorm woke us up around 4:30 am, checked to see if there was tornadic activity anywhere near. There wasn't, but we were all up anyway. I hope everyone made it thru alright.

OK here in NorthCentral AR (Drasco) and Western/Central (Russellville) - nothing major in our area lot of rain, strong winds and hail, but I am sure thankful for the MUCH needed rain from last season, I can take mud anyday over the drought last year.

Amen!

Our well is showing the signs of not enough rain last year, we have got low several times recently. Kinda worrying me.

We had a TON of rain last night. All streets in town were flooded with at least 2ft of water. The fire department had to get their boats out to rescue people trying to drive through the water. Thankfully there were no tornados!

Anyone heard from Lisa Foster in MO????

We are good here! other than a run in flood! The tornados hit around us! We needed that Rain soo bad it is nice to see green pastures growing! But the damage not to far from here was bad! They got it almost 3 nights in a row!

I also Heard Steph_D was fine before last nigth and so was JMS_Minis! I have not hared from Lisa F though

Okay here, just lots of hail damage. We had BASEBALL sized hail, lots of wind. Our vehicles all took a terrible beating and I got a window in the bedroom busted out. The hail started out small and just kept getting bigger. It was VERY scary listening to those baseball size ones hit. Never seen anything like it.

We're all ok here.......very glad for the rain as well, just wish it didn't have to bring the tornados along with it

Ashley, last year when we had ping pong ball size hail it damaged our roof and several others around us had roof damage also. Be sure and check that also when you turn in damage to your insurance. If you don't catch it now, could cause problems later.
