Land Lines in VA

Sheesh... every where I have lived, was easy to get a Landline for the phone set up. Much cheaper than Cell.

But darned if I can find someone that does an Land Line in Aylett, VA. ( top of King William County, near Richmond on the Lower East side, there abouts)

Can't really find anything on the Web.

Anyone know of reliable well known Phone company in that area, that does Land lines??

I'm betting it's Verizon there. It is here in Spotsylvania and at my office in Warrenton. I have two landlines at home (home and home office). They are each more expensive than our cell phones

We have Verizon in Maryland and in our specific area there is no DSL whatsoever. So, we got the mobile broadbands by Verizon wireless). Work perfectly - you can plug it into your laptop and also load the disk on your computer and use it both places. They have different package deals (based on minutes) - fairly cheap.

I was going to say Verizon as well. We don't have Verizon internet here either. We have Highspeed internet with Comcast.

Looks like comcast is the only internet in the area too. (Did write to Cox but haven't heard back from them)

DH really dislikes Verizon for internet. IF you go over, they don't tell you and you get hammered big $$$ on the next bill.

I just want straight forward DSL, no fuss, no muss and no worries when I suck up band width when I am doing things with my Art.

Of course, this is all immaterial if DH's work won't honor their word. Should find out tomorrow night.
