We had out last foal of 2007 ,last night and its ANOTHER FILLY, that makes 3 out of 3 , all fillies this yr.
She foaled about 7:45 last night, called friend Jean ,told her we should have foal tonight, she came over and 45 minutes later, she got to see her first foal born, Brit's a old pro, had her in 5 minutes and Jean got to help dry off and do the stump and watched her get up and take first steps and she found milk bar quickly ( we held foaling 101 class last night ) Foal is doing great, I am glad this yrs over. She looks to be a silver bay ,like her full sister (pictured in avatar). Will get better pic's when she finished unfolding, only 12 hours here. She looks real leggy, but her cannon bone is only 7", She should go about 30-31"
