That is only the beginning Laura, my oldest son is 21 and I'm still wondering ... :new_shocked:

Best wishes can't wait to see pics of the little bean.

I hope you are journaling! I had a small spiral notebook that I would write in during the last few weeks of each pregnancy up until delivery and hospital stay. I read them to my boys on their birthdays and we laugh about how they kept me up for weeks, then the drives to the hospital and the short and sweet version of deliveries...now every year on their birthdays they ask for "their story". I feel so lucky never to have gone past my due dates that would have driven me nuts! I think of you daily and hope when he decides to grace you with his presence it will be a smooth delivery.

You said "with all the contractions".....

I had a TON of contractions in the last month or so of my pregnancies...

I had been blessed with three rediculously short (NOT complaining!!) labors...like my first was all of like 4 hours! My second was @ 2 1/2 and my last (and FINAL! lol) was born in less than an hour!

No, this isn't when I was in "hard active labor"....this was start to finish. In fact, my daughter was SO fast that I didn't even know I was in labor, we went to the hospital to "check it out" and my Dr said, "um...you're about 8 dilated, we're having a baby!" Of course I was :new_shocked: !!!!

I had maybe 15 mins of real active labor with her and after she was born my Dr said, "When I told you 8, you were really like 9 and I didn't want to freak you out!" I said, "well you freaked me out with 8, so thanks!!"

I never had time for drugs even if I wanted them and thank goodness I live like 5 miles from the hospital! I don't think my hubby could've handled an "in car" delivery! LOL Actually, I don't think I could handle an "in car" delivery....in January in a snowstorm, no less!

Point of story....all those "mini" contractions are GOOD!! Get all that work done to save you from when you're REALLY in labor!

Best of luck for a quick and "easy" delivery! He's not your first, so you'll be a pro!
