Just wondering I know a level bite is correct but at what degree is a bite ok if its not level? I know in dogs and over shot and undershot are frowned upon but didnt know if in horses a slight under or over is ok?

I believe most horsemen consider a bite which is 1/2 tooth (the depth of the tooth) off one way or another OR LESS to be a "good bite" ...

If it's a pet...I'd think anything over 1/2 a tooth off is bad.

If I was breeding I wouldn't even look at breeding a horse wwithout a perfect bite.
