Hi everyone,

Thank you for all the responses to my friend Janine. The trip is getting close and I believe she plans on leaving fro Washington state on October 15th.

Janine has a few minis besides her full size horses. The pretty little black pinto filly that is listed on the "rescue padre" web site is one of her own breeding. I have seen her and she looks very nice. Janine had planned on keeping her, she likes her so much, but this filly is now for sale in order to get funds to go rescue "Padre"

If there is any interest in this pretty black pinto mini filly, please contact Janine at [email protected]

If anyone has interest in a brand new mini biothane harness, Janine's friend is donating it for sale to assist in "Padre's" rescue fund.

Thanks so much, for "Padre's sake".

I'm to far south too, but my heart breaks for her and Padre and I just want you to know my prayers are with her on her journey to get him and on the way home. I'm happy she found him. TJ

I'm too close to the starting point to do any good but wanted to say my prayers are with them. Poor horse!!

His owner must have been in emotional agony every day he was gone and even more so now that she knows what he's gone through during his absence. My heart bleeds for them both.

Janine is leaving tonight from NJ to Washington state! What a long trip, even longer coming back as they need to take it easy on Padre. Please keep them in your prayers for a safe trip.

Thanks again to everyone that offered help, prayers , and kind words.

Love,

Robin

I'll will be thinking of Janine and Padre and praying they have a safe trip. I can't even begin to imagine what she's going through, i'm glad she found him.

How on earth did he get all the way across the US?

I am in Canada so cant help but wanted to say I am dumbfounded that someone would steal someone's beloved animal and THEN do THAT to him.

I dont know how they found him but I am so happy they did. I feel for the owner

I could not imagine being in her shoes and I am sure this boy will be well spoiled for

the rest of his life. I know he would be if he were mine.

I also hope the people that did this to this poor boy go to jail for animal abuse.

I am in Canada too so can't help with accomodation but know that I will keep Janine and Padre in my prayers and thoughts that they arrive home safe and sound. What a contrast between the before pics and the after ones, you would not know it was the same animal, how could that woman do this, if she couldn't look after him why not give him back. I am so happy they found him before it was too late and I hope he recovers soon.

Hi- We are in southern Indiana- chances are you will come within a few miles of us. We always have an open stall for a horse in need. I have an entire barn we use just for quarantine and lay overs -a 12 x 12 stall is available if need be. Just let us know ahead of time to have ready.
