Looks like Chesa's mare is foaling!

Aww--they are doing great this morning. Cristina and I were emailing when it started so sent me the link and I was able to watch the whole thing and then some. It was wonderful, since I'm done foaling. Mama was so attentive last night, once she got over the shock and weariness of the whole experience. I've never seen such a doting mama. Looks like your late night paid off and all is well. He's a tiny one! Love those socks!!

Morning everyone!!

I'm going to be a couple hours late for work... (I called in though).... The little guy is doing great! I had to pull his blankies off this a.m. was curious to see exactly "what" color he is... I really am unsure of his color right now.... he could be bay... but right now he's really a buckskin-dunish color with a dun strip going down his tail... ??? I wish I could body clip Dancer but way too chilly yet at night.. I have to keep getting a warm washcloth and whipping the hair that is matting in his eyes.. I do have her belly clipped... He is TINY! I'm guessing he will mature to around 30".

Dancer has peed but has not yet pooped... I'm hoping when I turn them out this afternoon (very NICE week here!!),,, she will go outside...

I plan to take video & a few photos this evening after work. I do LOVE his white socks (on all 4's)... But everyone's doing well! Yeah!! I will keep them on the foaling cam for a while...

YEAH! I'm done with foaling season!!!

I usually have 3 foals a year... but this is my one and only!!! Glad it's done and over with... on to show season!!

And boy do I have a line up this year!!!!
