Lp Test!!!!

My friend told me her horses' testing results, and Lp was included in that. I asked if that was recent, or if he was part of the Lp study. She said it was recent, she JUST had it done... WHERE?!?!?!

She said Animal Genetics! Even The Appaloosa Project was unaware they will do it now! It's not on their website or form, but if you request it, they'll do it. I verified myself, I'm having an appy mare (she's varnish and I suspect LpLp) tested for frame, so I asked about Lp, and sure enough, she's getting tested for that as well

The bad thing is it costs more than the other tests, it's $50

Yes the App Project found the gene but they don't know the test is being offered

They knew AG would be but it hadn't been announced yet
