I just can't contain myself..it's been a very long hard road for my grand daughter to get here, but after getting her Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Science , well seemed the MCAT would be her undoing as its a very long hard standardized test, she was not in the top 25% as most are but good enough..along with her very high GPA, letters of recommendation, interviews, well she called me last night at 11:30 pm to tell me she's been invited to the Global Scholars Program by St George's University! They want her to go to Newcastle University in North Umbra, Newcastle , England! She'll go there for one year, then back here to finish! Internships or clinicals are normally done then in New York or Were so proud and and grateful we can hardly do anything today.

After she called last night I got up out of bed and got on the computer and explored the whole program etc..We have friends in England and Ireland..what an opportunity for her. She plans to be a Pediatrician.

I just had to share our good news! Here's a picture of my girl..she's more than a grand daughter, she lived with us for almost 4 yrs and went through highschool here as our daughter.Meet Jeyn..(we'd been to the lake and she got bit by mosquotoes) had a big one on her chin and cheek, the chin one really showed:)
