Mare 357 days gestation. AHHHHH

My mare is at 357 days today and no signs of anything coming real soon.

Is anyone else out there feeling this stress? lol. I am soooooooo tired. She doesn't have much bag at all and is only a little loose in the bag end. She won't let me near her udder anymore to check milk so I am not pushing it. I figure she is allowed to be grouchy. tee hee. I will try to get a picture of her today but would love to see pics of other mares this far along and how you fill the time while waiting? :lol:

I have a mare I bought in foal. She was pasture bred and all I know is last years foal was born 4/19. She will not let me touch her rear area at all so I have been watching her bag by laying on the floor and looking up! (Not so easy as she is 31 inches.) I have had her under camera and alarm since 3/4. I am exhausted! She shows signs all day (tail swishing, biting, rolling ) and then about 12:00 she goes to sleep and nothing till next afternoon! I am SOO tired.........so I feel for you!! I am told they HAVE to have it eventually...RIGHT???????

Yup, I am sure she is pregnant. Yesterday she almost tipped over when the baby shifted all the way off to the left. lol. Quite the sight to see. I have had her under a camera since the end of april so not as long but I am tired. My other mare was bred at the same time and then a month later so she is due soon too. Not much going on with her other than movement too. *sigh* I'll just have to wait and see.

Had one on Sunday at day 350. Showed no real signs then her milk pH started dropping fast. Almost missed last time and this year we were there!

I had one go 369 days. Unfortunatly it is a dwarf. And a beautiful palomino and white paint to boot. Oh well I guess I just got another pet!

The mini's are so funny when they are very pregnant! We keep joking that we are going to strap a skateboard to their bellies to help them get around! :bgrin
