mare has waxed up

My mare waxed today

she's at 331 days, how long to foaling ?

I've read different opinions, some say 12hrs and some say weeks !

Help

Each mare is different and this year they seem to be taking their time. I would watch her like a hawk though cos some will foal a few hours after.

I have never had a mare go over 24 hours after truly waxing, and that was only one. The rest of them will foal the night they have waxed. Not all mares wax either before they foal. Congratulations on your healthy colt.
