A very rough clip-as in with the coat and on the highest setting. Blades through long unwashed coats--YUCK. I had to stop several times to clean the blades. I'll bathe and Show Sheen in June when I do it again. No one else needs clipping.

Mazie is dapples galore! And I knew I should have named Tucker Hersey.

It was buggy and they were being very uncooperative about getting great photos (something other than heads down!!)... but this one I like.

They look great! I need to get BRAVE and try clipping everyone. I did their heads and stopped. Mine look a little rough when i'm done

I don't even want to think about body clipping yet ugh! Nights here are still way chilly. All I keep done are faces, bridle paths and legs cause I can't stand fetlock hairs. That's plenty for now. My old bones are creaking just thinking about it.

They look fabulous Karla. Can't believe that they are that big now. I always love your photos.

Great pictures Karla. I especially love the napping/resting ones. Mazie reminds me of Martys old pony Snowflake....lots and lots of dapples. By the way I miss seeing your Spring barn and flower pictures..maybe a few of your pictures would give me some incentive to go work in my yard...please?

Lets see some pretty Karla gardens...with horses!!

Oh, Little Ribbie--have I got spring flower pics!

I rarely post them here because so few reply...the quilting forum goes crazy over them so it makes it worth the trouble. Send me your email and I'll send you the best ones.

Aww they are looking great! Love the dapples. I am trying to get clipping done here but not getting far

Karla, Your pictures look great as usual, but I especially like the resting one, they look like they are having a good gossip about something or someone

Yvonne--they're praying: "And thank you, Lord, for our mama who makes us behave, and kisses our muzzles, and feeds us treats, and loves us so very much."

I have some new barn buddies--one is a PE teacher from school who had horses her whole life until two years ago, when her last one died in the pasture. She doesn't want to get another at this time in her life--so she scratches her itch by coming here. Tucker is her project.

We took Mazie and Tucker for a three mile hike down the lanes and through the fields yesterday--so much fun!! This PE teacher walks her talk--she said she wants to get in at least five miles, so since it's too much for the horses, we'll take two for 2.5 miles, then return to swap for two others and keep going.

My horses and I will be in great shape!
