Ok, so at nationals I totally changed my plans with my horses. I have since decided I was selling out of my mares and going to do more showing, and very little if any breeding.
So that also ment I needed to find better show horses. As lets face it I have geldings, and while they place they are not all around horses. I was really in the market for a all around, halter, jumper and driving prospect.
I did decide to keep one broodmare back in case I ever want another foal, and because she has been around since a foal, and after haveing her 9 years I dont think I can part with her.
So once my mares are sold I will then be down to my one broodmare, a yearling show filly(leadline prospect for my neices/nephews who always want to ride one), Boo my now yearling appy stallion soon to be gelding, and this new guy.
I seen his full brother at Nationals, Rhapsody's Quest for Gold, who even dress up in his clothes was awsome looking. Took him for a walk and wow does he have the power, energy and fire I want. His brother won National champion 2 year old geldings, Jr Champion and Reserve Grand Champion. His 3/4 brother was there as well, who I really really love and would love to have a baby from some day, Rhapsody's Reign Man. Reign Man won his futurity class as well as Supreme Futurity!
So even though I was looking for something a little older I decided to take a chance on this little fella. HIs name is Rhapsody's Little Geronimo. He isnt home yet, but will be in a few weeks. I cant wait to meet him in person and love on him. I would be thrilled to death if he can do even half of what his siblings did. So he will be out next year in yearling geldings. He is ASPC/AMHR and Fountaion registured. He is also in futuritys so he will have a busy season next year, hopefully hitting some R shows as well as maybe some shetland shows.
Anyway, with out further ado, here is Nemo!
