I saw these at TSC and was wondering if they would be suitable for minis? They are for horses, softer and in a blue tub...my initial reaction, as they smell really good...would be my girls would eat it up in one day......piggies.......that they are......anyone use or know of these?

The tubs tend to have a fair amount of molasses in them, as it holds the whole thing together and makes them taste good. While I've not bought the TSC tubs for my horses, I have used SmartLic tubs for my saddle horses in winter; not the minis as they need the molasses even less than the saddle horses do. that said, I do have a friend that raises minis and she gets tubs periodically throughout the year for her minis and hasn't had issues with them to my knowledge. They usually do really like them, and probably go through them faster than they should; another reason I don't get them for the minis (my minis are all on a ration balancer and hay, and that's pretty much it except the occasional treat).

I used the blue tub from TSC once for my big horses. They hung on it until it was gone 'cause of the molasses!! I decided that they were too expensive for no longer than it lasted, so never got any more. Maybe if there would've been several so they figured out that there would always be one there........ Just know they went thru it WAY TOO FAST for me!!! LOL But the blue tub makes a GREAT feed pan!!

I think the minis would love them, but just haven't gotten one for the mare pen yet.

I "tried" one. I had several mares that would not leave it alone. And some how one ended up covered in it and was all sticky. Her body, he neck her legs....I don't know how she did it but I had to take it out.

We tried "Pony Pops" for our stalled horses and hung them on ropes from the ceiling. They had that stuff ALL OVER them. It's next to impossible to get that stuff off.
