My miniature steer had his horns trimmed today.
His horns were starting to press on his little head and clearly something had to be done. The vet came and was here for 1.5 hours. He sedated the boy, nerve blocked his horns and cut a lump off each. Talk about bleed.
More needles. Turned the boy into a pin cushion.
Young vet and what a production.
Anyway after about 2 hours Gus was awake enough to go back out into the paddock with Hefty Heifer and HOPEFULLY all will be well. He was eating when it got dark so will have to wait 'til morning to see if he survived,
I've been obsessing over this for weeks but don't worry I will soon find something else to obsess over.
