Sorry, Nic, I think she does look thin. NOT "poor" she is in excellent health that is obvious. The hay....well, some hay is good, some is no more nutritious than straw- do you know what you have?? I KNOW it's squeaky clean and beautiful looking I know you would feed her no less, but what is it's nutritional content?? That being said my Arab mare Amira was about her height and could tuck away a full bale of top seeds hay , no problemo- and NOT nursing a foal, either as I was/am blessed with pasture and have never even had to supplement feed my broodmares. I would look into getting Beet Pulp for her, and for Image too, he is way old enough, and do not tail off her feed too quickly when you wean him- she has every right to be a little plump- I would much rather "fit" a plump horse than a thin one!!! How's the boarding mare doing??? Progress report, please, and pictures.

This may be a bit off topic but--

I was browsing around your website to see that Eclipse was sold??

When did that happen?

Eclipse is leaveing tomorrow actually. He will be owned by a wonderful small breeding farm and have a loving family looking after him. While on the subject Charlie is also sold. He sold 3 days after I listed him for sale, I knew he would go fast, there arent enough good kid ponies around - his family called to tell me he was doing wonderful and they love him so that makes me happy!

Rabitsfizz, the horse I am training is doing really well! He is getting along with everyone and is the first horse in the history of my owning Molly that she didnt try to kick and she didnt even squeel at him - I am in shock

Ive taken him on trail rides every day he has been here, he started out spooking twice on the trail ride then went down to once on the ride and now the last two rided we have been on he hasnt spooked at all. I also did some cantering with him yesterday which was the first time since March for him - he has a very nice western pleasure canter!

Here he is with Ernie and Rodeo (I think he thinks he is a mini too)
