Hubby and I just got back from taking the Mouse and her rooster, Roadrunner, to live with Robin in WA. Mouse did great on the trip and while in the trailer, she really found out that we were not going to hurt her and that those scratches feel really good! She is a sweet girl.
Her rooster, Roadrunner, was extremely happy to get to Robin's....he got to be free again! I had to keep him in a cage because I have a bird dog, a coondog, and a JRT....he would have never made it.
:
Both of them made themselves right at home when we got there. Mouse roamed around the corral and into the barn, talked to her new horse friends and fell right into place. Roadrunner started scratching the ground and crowing with his excitment.
We're glad we had the chance to meet this special girl and spend some time with her helping her discover that not all people are bad. I hope she has a wonderful life and finds her special person.
