My dog Tracey, very bad news

Marty, not too long ago I went to a dog show and met the owner of a GSD who had lost the ability to use her hindend and the dog was doing just fine. Of course, the owners had to make the extra effort to cart her around and help her do things (potty, get in and out of the truck, etc.), but the rest of the time she slept on her special foam bed with her favorite toys and water nearby (food was given on a schedule so pottying was more predictable). So, if Tracey is in no pain or has managable pain, then I don't see why your family would have to give up on her. There will be an adjustment period, I'm sure, but I'll bet you can continue to make her life a happy one... ***HUGS***

Hang in there Marty! We're all pulling for Tracy and you!
