Well, Slick and Rocky didn't act much like a team today. I have driven them (Ground driving that is) many many times in New Hampshire together and they went along like old pros. Today it was like "hearding cats".

But I did take a few pictures of them together, before I was drawn and quartered by my own horses!!

I can imagine that herding cats can be rather exciting!

None the less, cheers to you all!

They look adorable.

"Herding cats" is one of my favorite expressions, but I sure hate trying to do it in real life! :new_shocked: Yipes. I was really disappointed that you weren't at the winter drive yesterday, it killed me to drive through Elma and not meet you or your horses. I don't get down that way very often.

I was waiting for further info on where exactly it was and what time it was and directions. I got partial direction last week, but was told they would get back to me with the rest of the info I needed to be there. I figured it got cancelled or something. What a total bummer!! I am sooo sorry I missed it. I am sooo out of the loop. I need someone to throw me a line so I can keep up with the goings on around here.

It was really more like trying to walk 250 pound cats on leashes.

Aw, Shellie! I'm sorry that nobody realized you were out of the loop. I noticed you weren't posting on the Winter Drive threads here but I just figured you were out of town again or had gotten the information behind the scenes. Next time I won't make any assumptions. Sorry!

As for the boys being on leashes, well, that's why they use the coupling reins to drive pairs! I can't imagine how you'd keep them together otherwise. You're braver than I am. Pairs intimidate me.

We'll get you to the next ocean drive if not something before then and you can meet everyone.

Ohhh how gorgeous! What beautiful fluffy horses!!!

I would love to get into 'driving' at some point when my boy is old enough. Is it difficult to train them and at what age can you begin??

Looks like so much fun too!!!

Fluffy minis....So cute...It takes alot of practice I have to say. I'm doing the same too on this end they are a mess on some days and others they are angels...

LOL... sounds like fun, none the less! They'll get co-ordinated once again, I'm sure. I enjoyed your pictures, they are really cute, love Slick (on the left, correct?)... his color, makes me think of a Siamese cat... which gets me to thinking... maybe he iiiiss part cat after all, LOL.

Have fun!

Shelly, Slick doesn't look to happy in the first picture. Not sure if Slick was made for team driving but I guess it worth a try, you never know. It's nice to see updated pictures of him and hear how he is doing. Give Slick a hug and

Shellie,

We're so sorry. We e-mailed times and place and a link to a map and posted updates on the Back Porch. Also we mailed you privately to answer your questions. We wonder if our mailings are being routed to ????? We should have noticed that you did not respond. There are rumors of another drive in the future. Very sorry here. We did look for you.
