Some of our stalls (and that is Whirlwind in the picture) - all the doors are scooped so that the horses can see out.

Congratulations on your two new babies. We have just returned from visiting with their grandsire, Stonehenge Painted Feather. He is a real sweetie and I hadn't realised just how small he was until now !

What an exciting time here at CLP Miniatures. Our new additions arrived last night about 9 p.m. They are both sired by Bear Branch Painted Feather and I am just thrilled to finally have them home. Now I cannot wait for the weather to get warm so I can bathe and clip and really show them off. They are both just phenominal.
I have them stalled together just for the night to lessen the stress. Valiant (the little colt) was very upset when he arrived and did not want to be separated from Cupcake so I put them together for the night. Today I will rearrange the barn and stall them next to one another and lower the wall in between so they can see each other. Then I can make sure each are eating properly and pooping and doing all the things they need to be doing.

He are a couple photos of their arrival and thanks for letting me share!

Coming into the barn.

Very nice, congrats.. My new guy came yesterday as well, hauled right brought him home for me, and I know how exciting it can be.

mydaddysjag - I probably had my hands on your new horse then. I was helping Frenchie to unload my guys and there were three on the back - all very nice horses and I was just loving them up! Which one was yours?

Nope, little ones on back weren't mine. My guy was delivered at 10am yesterday, but he's a silver dapple 9 year old gelding. I got to help out with the little guys on the back too, my guy was in a middle stall, so we had to get him around them. They were so cute, my hubby saw me smiling at them and goes "YOU ALREADY GOT YOUR NEW ONE, NO MORE" lol. He even thought they were adorable though.

Congratulations, Connie! I LOVE Painted Feather, he is one I really looked at when thinking about expanding my herd. His babies are beautiful and can also move. I am sure you will have a ton of fun with your new ones. :D

Congratulations on your new additions! I fell in love with Feather the first time I saw him and now you have 2 little feathers! Lucky Girl!

Thank you SO VERY much everyone. You all have no idea how excited I truly am about these two. If I cannot get my daughter to work her schedule out to show for me I will force myself back into the ring because they definitely need to be shown.

I so appreciate all of your wonderful comments. I wish I could even take one ounce of credit for creating them, but I had nothing to do with it - It was The Fosters that bred these beauties.

Judy - you are SO lucky to have Feather - If I had known he was for sale I surely would have been in line - you can bet on that. You have yourself a gem there!

Stonehenge Painted Feather - the grandsire to these horses is MY ALL TIME FAVORITE MINIATURE HORSE - anyone that knows me can tell you what I think of Feather "Senior". I am going to meet him in person one day - I am. Jane I'm coming to visit! LOL.

I always say that one shouldn't base their entire herd around one bloodline, but I just cannot seem to help myself. Feather X Magic Man is a win win situation for me!

I cannot wait to unveil them again after a bath and clip - will post on the photo forum.

Thanks again everyone!
