MY New Year`s Resolution.....

I solemnly RESOLVE to make sure that this year I get all NEW and BETTER pictures of ALL my horses!!!!

I also RESOLVE to get caught up on my registration paperwork and STAY caught up with it....

Anyone else....am I the only one with this "problem"???

Yup! I need new photos of my Spuds daughters! Here they are almost two and I still have baby pics of them

I did get new pics of a few of our mares this year though.

Yes Cyndi, I did start that last summer but I never got finished and got all my pages updated like I wanted to.

During the winter, I'll be hold up in the house or at the store and I'm going to find the time to do some serious updateing with nicer pictures.

I am a bad kitty about paper work myself...

I have two mares I traded for earlier this year that are Still in their original mother's names...Bad bad bad

... and website, Hah, like I even Have a website! But I am getting Liz pic's of all my mares this year, (YAY! That's my birthday present to myself!!) and of their hopeful healthy foals, and Then my friends, Then I will have a website.

I need to figure out how to do it all on my own, and then I will be a Very good girl and update constantly so the web-site forum police won't crab about my un-updated website.

Oh Yeah me too!!! I can finally do it too, hubby got me a great little digital camera for Christmas and I can even do a small video with it for our webpage... I am so tickled with it, now I just have to learn to use it.

You're definately not the only one! I just finished sending off the last of my registration papers on my 2005 foals. This year I resolve to take their pics early and send off the papers in a timely manner........but I do so love to procrastinate!

Count me in!! Especially on the paperwork part. I have been pretty good this year getting pix and updating the website but am by no means done yet. I HATE doing paperwork and not to mention the costs, yikes!! I am way behind but gradually working on it all.

That is our 2006 goal - photo's - good photos of all our horses! We're signed up for one Liz shoot next September - that is exciting, but we're also going to get good photos of all the mares. It's really bad when buyers come out and comment how much nicer the horses are in person. As I've always said, I can make any horse ugly with a camera! My son did receive an extremely nice digital camera, (mine is a dinosaur), and he can take print quality photos - stop action, video, etc. So, between that and our video camera, hopefully we'll have video available too.

I'm pretty good on the paperwork issue - I have to as we have 60+/- minis and that can get into a real mess if not watched! To keep everyone current in two registries I rely on a spreadsheet. It is a fairly simple one, but it helps with filling out paperwork too. That along with reminders in Outlook about what needs to be done each month (I have those for ads due, horses going permanent, etc). Saying that I do have one horse at AMHA that they're waiting for photos. I thought I'd sent them, well apparently I didn't, so I'm waiting for it to be less muddy to get a few of her.

Michelle, I only have 18 horses, but I am still so behind..can you tell me about the Outlook reminders?? Is that some program?? I have windows xp. I would really like to have something to remind me...that would just be GREAT!!!
