Well my wife and I are a bit crazy, we are rebuilding a house, she is in law school and I am interviewing today for a new job. BUTTTTTT we claimed a new racehorse on Monday at Portland Meadows.
Now our sole intention was to breed this mare in February to Count Corona a stallion out of AZ, but when our trainer claimed her for us, he decided she needs to run some more before then so she is staying in training for a few more months.
This is Chivato Toast (AQHA), a Stakes winning and stakes placed daughter of Dash to Chivato (by First Down Dash out of a Beduino daughter), and out of Toasting The Heavens a Stakes producer and daughter of Pie In The Sky. "Chevy" is 5 years old has won 6 out of 20 races and has made about $17,000 with a speed index of 99. The picture below is of her as a 2 year old, YES SHE IS HUGE, and that is my wife as the jockey. We have liked this mare for a while can you tell.
