That was very courageous of you to be so selfless and to think of your horses well-being verses your own.

I know from experience how difficult it can be to have to come to terms with putting a beloved animal to rest. Those decisions don't come easy to any of us or without heartbreak. My prayers are with you and your special boy....

Alisha,

Bless you for making one of the hardest, but most loving decision you could make for your special boy. He's running pain free in the The brilliant green Valley now.

I am so sorry for your loss - you have allowed him to have a pain free life and that will be one of the hardest things you ever do.

I am so sorry about your old guy and your long time buddy. I know JUST how you feel and it is NEVER easy. It will leave a hole in your heart, but sounds like he was really a great horse, so remember all the fun you have had with him. It is great that he had such a wonderful and caring owner, who let him go with dignity and love, and well cared for to the end.

Hugs to you and you will remember him forever.

Alisha, I'm so sorry.....it's part of having these wonderful animals in our lives but knowing that doesn't make it any easier.

He is free now, light and unburdened and able to watch over you the way he wanted to. You did the most loving thing you could despite how much it hurt you. Kudos and hugs in this difficult time.
