My Rescue Mare

Here's a picture of the little mare I rescued. She's pregnant, and thin. The hair covers up how thin she is. She's not really bad, but she does need a few pounds. She's due in about 2 months.

She's not a fancy show horse (I've seen pics of some of the members minis on here and they are beautiful), but at least she's got a forever home now. From what I have heard, she's been passed around quite a bit.

My husband thought she's look cute with his hat on.

My husband always wanted a mini, and I promised I'd get him one this summer. But he wanted a boy so he could call him Cooper. Anyway, we ended up getting this girl, and he adores her. He even takes her for walks lol. So she's got a forever home regardless. I'm just hoping all goes well with her foaling. I also found out she's had a few foals, and she did well aside from the one that died last year.

Hi, I think she is beautiful! She is so lucky to have landed at your farm in her forever farm. Yes there are some beautiful "show horses" on here - but every mini is beautiful in all different ways. Go look at the topic before and after clipping and you might be surprised what really might be under all her hair!!!!!

Like some others said, you might be surprised what is hiding underneath. I was totally shocked at my guy. I thought he was cute and I loved him but he wasn't no world beater. Once the fluffy's came off I was stunned. Much better than I imagined. Not Nationals gorgeous but he'll be competitive.

I think she is so cute!! So glad you rescued her. I rescued a gelding in December and he fits in so well in our family. Every mini is special, show horse or not, and they all look the same-like yaks!! in their fuzzies...Cant wait to see the baby- be sure to post pix please..
