This is my coming 3 year old, 27" mare, Raven. She's a total clown and makes us laugh everyday. She's like a supermodel who wears sweats and a baseball cap when not in front of the camera.

When she's in the ring, she's all business, but when she's not, all she wants to do is get into trouble. She will go up stairs, walk on tile floors, climb into a car, walk through water, roll in the mud, eat your shoes...and then pose for the cameras!

Here she is being a showgirl:

She has 5 top ten titles (open, ammy and futurity), and is undefeated in open halter at the local and regional level. She will be shown in Senior Mares 28" & Under in 2009.

Here is a pic I just received today from Marsha who works in the AMHA office. While at the world show this past year (and apparently last year too) Marsha's family stopped by Blue Ribbon's stalls and asked if the kids could play with one of the horses. Both years Val gave them Raven. And of course, she LOVED it. They walked her around and gave her treats for doing nothing...which she does very well!

Isn't this pic cute?

Then here is what Ravey does if we don't shut the back door fast enough!

We love this tiny girl with a BIG heart! She never met a stranger, but can still be a show horse when she needs to.

Thanks for letting me share.

What a character!!! I like them like that, I like them to have a personality. You should see the other funny ones that inhabit my house. I'm the top nut LOL! There is nothing boring in my realm..LOL She is a very pretty girl! That probably helps to get away with more stuff.

She has always been one of my favorite tinies, Parmela!!

She sounds really neat, i love the horses that have a personality of their own

She is adoreable! I LOVE, Love LOVE the tiny ones too

Her sire is Little John's brother and Semi's sire is her sire's brother too.

Sandy,

I had totally forgotten that! It is a "small" world.

BTW, did you know the Rubicon, Raven's sire, was unanimous Champion Senior Stallion 28-30" this year at World? I was watching the Grand Champion class and didn't realize he was in it (actually had just forgotten) and said to my friend "well, I think the one with Mike (Rosauer) is going to win, but that one is the one I want in MY barn!" I was referring to Rubicon and didn't even realize it!

Since Joan just bought Wardance she's offering Rubicon for sale, but he's way out of my price range. :DOH! Oh well, 3 stallions is more than enough!

Thanks guys! She really is a ham and such a cutie too. She's really the closest to what we want to be able to reproduce on our farm - tiny but still with the right balance. She's not perfect, but she's very close to what we see as perfect. (I realize she's FAR from what many others would call perfect or try to reproduce.) But I sure hope her future babies not only have her looks but get her personality.

She's just so full of $% and vinegar, but yet totally easy to handle and lovable.

Thanks again for all the nice comments.
