This is my coming 3 year old, 27" mare, Raven. She's a total clown and makes us laugh everyday. She's like a supermodel who wears sweats and a baseball cap when not in front of the camera.
When she's in the ring, she's all business, but when she's not, all she wants to do is get into trouble. She will go up stairs, walk on tile floors, climb into a car, walk through water, roll in the mud, eat your shoes...and then pose for the cameras!
Here she is being a showgirl:
She has 5 top ten titles (open, ammy and futurity), and is undefeated in open halter at the local and regional level. She will be shown in Senior Mares 28" & Under in 2009.
Here is a pic I just received today from Marsha who works in the AMHA office. While at the world show this past year (and apparently last year too) Marsha's family stopped by Blue Ribbon's stalls and asked if the kids could play with one of the horses. Both years Val gave them Raven. And of course, she LOVED it. They walked her around and gave her treats for doing nothing...which she does very well!
Isn't this pic cute?
The kids are ADORABLE!!
Then here is what Ravey does if we don't shut the back door fast enough!
We love this tiny girl with a BIG heart! She never met a stranger, but can still be a show horse when she needs to.
Thanks for letting me share.
