What a great show I had overall! My group of 7 horses (both mine and client) garnered ten Top 10's and 2 World Championships! We are all thrilled with the results and couldn't be happier.

The biggest disappointment in the ring was one of my 3 Liberty horses. She was 7th in the order of go and she was BRILLIANT! Big, rolling gallop, tail flagging, park trot and an awesome catch. She should have placed well if not won and she was given the gate.

Not even listed on any of the 5 judges cards. I don't know why, but I will be looking into it......

My other low is my little yearling colt, Red, is still in the hospital in Ft Worth.

He developed ulcer symptoms which we started treating aggressively then that turned into an impaction then colitis. He did manage to show in one class before he got bad where he went Top 10 in Amateur Jr Stallions, Level 1, 30" & Under with my daughter Cammie. He showed his heart out and I am so disappointed he didn't get to compete in Yearling Stallions 28" & Under and Multi Color too, but I am thankful it looks like he will recover and if no setbacks, I will be going back to Ft Worth to pick him up tomorrow.

What a roller coaster ride the past week and a half have been and I'm glad to be home and very greatful for all the wonderful help I had at the show and all the great friends, family, clients and support! I couldn't have done it without them!

It sounds like as far as showing you had a great show, your clients can be happy with you! It can be disappointing when you think you/our horse has done so well only to find that you aren't even considered. I had a horse this year in Multicolor that one of the three judges didn't place and I thought he should have been. Our horse still made the Top Ten but I was hoping for a bit better. That's a horse show all of us face highs and lows. I am glad to hear your little guy is doing good and gets to come home soon. We had one last year that was facing dying the first three days of hospitalization at Tulsa. She stayed there for almost 6 weeks and then we brought her home, healthy! So best wishes for your little guy! Lavonne

We LOVED that mare! She had the most spectacular catch I have ever seen, she just turned right to you on a dime when the music stopped. We were very shocked when she didn't place. Congrats on your other wins though.

I saw your beautiful horses in the stalls and I so wanted to introduce myself but you were busy clipping horses and I didn't want to be a pest. Congratulations on your wins and I hope your boy is better real soon.

Congratulations, Becky, on your wins! What a heartbreak on the liberty class. I know you prepared your horse for that class as thoroughly as a halter class; what a disappointment! The only consolation is how much the spectators must have enjoyed watching her.

Hope your little one is home soon.

Hi Becky!

I thought you had some GREAT Liberty runs at Worlds!! And deffinately thought you should of placed..... I don't quite understand why they picked what they picked except for the first place horse....... that horse was WOW!! but some of the others..... I didn't understand that at all!

I sure hope your little guy gets a full recovery!!

Congrats on your wins Becky! I know you are very excited.

I'm sorry to hear about your baby............I hope he has a speedy recovery. Yes, I would check on the Liberty Class too. Is it too late to do that I wonder?

I went back to Ft Worth and picked up Red yesterday. He should make a full recovery.
