National Area 6 show

[Maple Hollow Farm]

I just got back home from the National Area show in DM this wkend and wanted to share my pictures. We had a good time for the most part but we most likely will not go back to DM again. The first night when we got back to our trailers at 11:00 there was an assault less than a block from where we were parked to camp and the cops and security were everywhere looking for the guy that did it and so we stayed awake until they found him which wasnt too much later but it was still scary. The show went alright but for some reason classes were switched around without notice so we would have a horse ready and then they would either slip classes in between so we ended up being ready way too early and made our horses grumpy or I even saw people get one horse hitched for its class and then they announced for another class to come in out of order and the people had to go switch horses because they were ready for the class that was supposed to be up and had to rush to get the correct horse for the switch, this caused a lot of holdups and probably helped to make the show go so late. I won my hunter class, got second in model stallions and placed in most of my classes. Here are my pics hope you enjoy them!

His name is Maple Hollows After Dark aka Bob and thanks I love this boy!!! Next year I am going to do jumping with him and get him trained to drive. Thanks for all the compliments on me and my other "kids"!

I figured that was the one you were talking about but just wanted to be sure not that it really matters as long as you like one of them

lol! It is kind of hard to see her striping and obviously you cant see her dorsal in the picture either. I bought her specifically to breed to my grey stallion, Bob (above). I love her head and movement the most. Thanks for the compliments again!!!

Congratulations on your placings...you rock! err..your horses rock! I always enjoy seeing your smile, you do enjoy showing! Sorry you have some problems for a while where you were camped. I am sure that is rare. We were there the weekend before and had no problems. I even walked back to the motorhome a few times. We have a pickup we could drive also if we wanted to. We did keep a lot of stuff in our tack stall though. For the Iowa Club show there should be three different places to camp so we might even try a different place. Hope you change your mind and make it to the Iowa Club show it is going to be a great show and a fun one to try! Four judges too!

I really would like to go to the Iowa show but part of the problem is that my parents are going to SD that wkend so I would be going down myself and I would have to drive down and back that day since I would have nowhere to stay. I dont really like travelling alone much but I am still contemplating it but since the entries are due by like wednesday I just dont know
